Terms of use

These terms explain how Demo works as a classifieds marketplace. By using the site you agree to them.

Acceptance and eligibility

  • Demo is a platform for user listings, we are not a party to user transactions.
  • You must be able to form a contract and follow applicable laws.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for due diligence and safe meetups and payments between users.
  • Some categories or content may require you to be 18 or older.
  • We may restrict access if your account is suspended or banned.

User generated content

  • You are responsible for what you post and the accuracy of your listings.
  • You must have rights to the content and media you upload.
  • You grant Demo a non exclusive license to host and display your listings.
  • You must not post personal data you do not have permission to share.
  • Keep listings up to date and remove them when they are no longer valid.
  • Demo does not guarantee listings, sellers, or buyer outcomes.

Prohibited content and conduct

  • Illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, or misleading claims.
  • Impersonation, harassment, hate speech, or threats.
  • Exploitation of minors, trafficking related content, or unsafe activity.
  • Doxxing, malware, or attempts to compromise users or systems.
  • Scraping, bots, automated collection, or abuse of platform features.
  • Bypassing security controls or attempting unauthorized access.
  • Listings that violate laws or community safety standards.

Moderation

  • We may remove listings, limit visibility, or suspend accounts for policy or safety reasons.
  • We may take action without notice when needed to protect the community.
  • We may require verification or additional information for certain listings.
  • We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
  • Use the report button on listings to flag abuse or unsafe content.

Payments and wallet

  • Fees may apply by category and city, and are shown before you publish.
  • Wallet top ups use a crypto invoice paid in Litecoin (LTC).
  • Crypto payments are irreversible, send the exact amount on the Litecoin network.
  • Wallet credits are non transferable and used for publish fees and add ons.
  • Promo purchases and subscriptions are final, no refunds.
  • Chargebacks or payment reversals may result in account restriction.
  • Invoices can expire, you may need to generate a new invoice.

Membership

  • Monthly credits reset each period, no rollover.
  • Membership can cover paid category publish fees and promo credits.
  • You can cancel renewal anytime, benefits remain until period end.
  • Payment failures place membership in pending payment until resolved.
  • Upgrades may take effect immediately, downgrades apply at next renewal.
  • No refunds for membership charges.

Safety tips

  • Meet in public places and bring a friend when possible.
  • Avoid upfront payments or off platform deposits.
  • Be cautious with deals that seem too good to be true.
  • Never share verification codes or passwords.
  • Use in app messaging when possible and report suspicious listings.

Liability

  • The platform is provided as is and as available without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • We are not responsible for user transactions, disputes, or losses between users.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Demo and its affiliates will not be liable for any damages of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from your use of the platform or user content.
  • You agree to use Demo at your own risk.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer laws.
  • Governing law is the laws of the province or territory where you reside in Canada and the federal laws of Canada.
  • Any disputes will be handled in courts located in your province or territory of residence in Canada.

Changes

  • We may update these terms as the product evolves.
  • Continued use means acceptance of the latest version.
  • Significant changes will be noted in product or by email.
  • If you do not agree, stop using the service.
  • We may update policies that support these terms.
